Hi, my name is Tom and I offer high-end personal training and private group fitness classes to busy professionals at their homes, workplaces or other convenient locations.


I serve the city of Cambridge, the towns of Saffron Walden and Newmarket, and the surrounding villages.

I take on fewer clients than the average personal trainer which allows me to focus on delivering a high standard of training.

I have spent most of the last decade running a well-respected, high-end personal training and private group fitness business in Christchurch, New Zealand. 

In March 2020 I moved back to the UK with my family. Within weeks I found myself in the unexpected position of having to be a full-time carer to my children due to the COVID-19 pandemic.


With the end of the pandemic on the horizon, I am back in action and taking on a limited number of clients.

Since 2011, I have trained hundreds of busy professionals at their workplaces and homes.


Well-equipped work and home gyms are fantastic but do not worry if you do not have access to one. You'll be surprised at how little space you need to perform an effective workout.


I come to sessions with a selection of exercise equipment that is perfect for training outside of the traditional gym environment.

Every session is different and always focused on developing full and functional fitness. Fitness assessments can be performed regularly if you find this motivational. 


I will be continually monitoring your performance and adapting sessions accordingly in line with your goals.


There is more to our sessions than the training. During periods of recovery, I always enjoy having a good chat with my clients about other aspects of their fitness, their work, their hobbies and current affairs.


It is fundamental that clients enjoy their training, so a bit of humour and banter is always welcome. 

It can be difficult to find the time and motivation to exercise when you have a stressful and time-consuming job that takes up most of your week.


When you do stop working, it is also important to make time for family and friends.

Having a personal trainer who comes to your home or workplace is convenient, easy and stress-free.

It's also a good opportunity to get some fresh air. I encourage clients to train outside where possible  - most of spend far too much time in air-conditioned boxes breathing in other people's germs.

£50 per session

(at least biweekly sessions)

Regular Buddy Training (1-3 People)

£55 per session

(at least biweekly sessions)

Irregular Personal Training

£55 per session

(i.e. programs, technical evaluations etc.)

All sessions are 1 hour long. No discounts offered for purchasing bulk sessions in advance. No contracts tying you into a set number of sessions.

I am very happy to arrange a time to meet with you to discuss your health and fitness goals. This is an obligation-free opportunity for you to hear what I have to offer. I dislike pushy sales techniques so please do not worry about feeling pressured. Usually this takes between 45 minutes and an hour.
